Planets in Signs

All the planets contribute to our own unique psyche created at the moment of our birth, and we can find where their positions were at this time by checking a planetary ephemeredes.

To do this, simply check the page for the month and year of birth, and find the planetary positions by locating the day of birth and reading across for each planet, starting with the Sun.

In this way, a solar birth chart (natal chart) can be created on a birth chart where the Sun sign and its degree are placed on the acute left angle of the chart with the rest of the signs placed in chronological order at each consecutive 30-degree cusp, moving in an anticlockwise direction. The planets can then be placed in the appropriate signs for the date of birth.
