Cancer is initially attracted to Leo's fun loving manner, but before long Cancer will find out just how different their value system is from one another. The fiery passion of Leo will make Cancer feel that real love cannot last with such intensity and begins to doubt Leo's heartfelt words of love. Otherwise, generous, open hearted, strong Leo is just what insecure Cancer is looking for.

The quiet outer facade of Cancer was possibly the attraction for Leo, and Cancer will do well to try to be everything that Leo expects in a partner. Cancer is able to provide the kind of home Leo wants and expects and this alone can solve many problems.

Both are romantics, though in different ways - Leo wants a relationship to be wonderful and exciting; Cancer wants it to be meaningful and fulfilling. Cancer worries about the future whilst this is the farthest thing from Leos mind. Leo's intermittent extravagant moods will exasperate the economical values of Cancer.
