Cancer is initially attracted to Aries by the strong Arian personality but before long Cancer will find out just how different their value system is from one another - they are fascinated with each other at the beginning, but sexual attraction fades in the face of many temperamental differences.

The energetic, sociable and forward looking Aries will not get along well with the domestic, protective, nurturing Cancer who likes to be the leader and will spend more time sulking than talking unless they are allowed to make most of the decisions in the home. Resentments build up and they end up arguing over everything. Aries has a sharp tongue that wounds vulnerable Cancer, and the more aggressive Aries is, the more defensive Cancer becomes.

With all the differences in personalities clashing constantly this could be a shaky union at best, but with the higher type of Aries and the positive type of Cancerian it can be made to work.
